A score with a standard.

Five dimensions. One outfit. A public rubric so you can see what goes into every score.

We rate the fit. Never you.

What we look at

The everyday rubric

Every dimension is scored from 0 to 100. We multiply each by its weight, add them together, and round to the nearest whole number.

Used for Everyday, Date, Work, and Night out. Your selected occasion changes what counts as a good occasion match.

What the numbers mean

These are the exact written anchors used by the scorer. They guide each dimension; they are not separate overall score bands.

Garment fit & proportion

25%
See the 40, 60, 75 & 90 anchors
Score 40
Garment lengths and volumes compete; several pieces bunch or overwhelm other garments.
Score 60
Most garment lengths work, but one oversized or undersized garment disrupts the overall silhouette.
Score 75
Garment lengths and volumes are balanced, with one small adjustment to a tuck or layer length needed.
Score 90
Intentional garment lengths, drape, and volume create a clear, balanced outfit silhouette.

Color harmony

25%
See the 40, 60, 75 & 90 anchors
Score 40
Several competing hues or contrasts lack a connecting neutral or deliberate accent.
Score 60
The main colors coordinate, but one large color block or accessory clashes with the palette.
Score 75
A coherent palette uses neutrals and accents well; one small color repetition could improve it.
Score 90
Every major color and accent supports a deliberate, well-balanced palette.

Cohesion / style intent

20%
See the 40, 60, 75 & 90 anchors
Score 40
Garments, shoes, and accessories suggest unrelated styles with no clear connecting element.
Score 60
A main style is apparent, but one prominent piece breaks its texture or formality language.
Score 75
The outfit reads as one intentional style, with a minor texture or accessory mismatch.
Score 90
Garments, textures, shoes, and accessories reinforce one clear, intentional look.

Occasion match

20%
See the 40, 60, 75 & 90 anchors
Score 40
The outfit's formality or practical garment choices substantially conflict with the selected occasion.
Score 60
The outfit is broadly usable for the occasion, but a major garment is too formal or too casual.
Score 75
The outfit suits the occasion well, with one minor shoe, layer, or accessory adjustment possible.
Score 90
The outfit's formality, practicality, and intentional details suit the selected occasion exceptionally well.

Details & finishing

10%
See the 40, 60, 75 & 90 anchors
Score 40
Several visible wrinkles, unfinished tucks, mismatched accessories, or untidy shoes distract from the clothes.
Score 60
Most pieces are finished, but a visible wrinkle, tuck, shoe, or accessory choice needs attention.
Score 75
Clothes, shoes, and accessories look considered, with one small finishing adjustment remaining.
Score 90
Neat garments, deliberate tucks, coordinated accessories, and well-finished shoes complete the look.

Same photo + same occasion = same score

We keep the first accepted score and advice for each normalized photo and occasion. Upload that same photo for that same occasion again and you get that saved result, with no new model call and no quota used. It has no expiry. A different occasion is scored separately.

We resize and remove metadata before identifying a photo. A crop, edit, or new photo can produce a different result. Your score stays fixed; its percentile can change as the comparison group changes.

We rate the fit. Never you.

We judge garments, colors, garment fit, layering, accessories, shoes, wrinkles, and tucks. We never rate faces, bodies, skin, attractiveness, age, race, or disability. A score is feedback about clothing, not a measure of anyone’s worth.

Some photos get no score

We decline photos with no complete outfit, nudity or underwear only, an apparent minor, multiple people without a clear subject, or a screenshot or photo of someone else, including celebrities. Rejections do not use your check quota. These checks can make mistakes; use an original photo of your own outfit with one adult clearly featured.

A comparison we have to earn

We compare your score with distinct photos first scored for the same occasion in the last 7 days. Re-uploading a cached photo does not add a sample or move it into a new week. Newly scored re-check photos count once. Rejections never count.

We show a percentile only when that occasion has at least 500 samples. With fewer samples, or if the comparison is unavailable, we show nothing.

“Top 12%” means 12% of that group scored at least as high as your outfit. We include ties, round the percentage up, and show at least 1% so we never claim “Top 0%”. It compares outfits submitted to ATE, not all people or all outfits.

Fixes are predictions

Suggested points are estimates, not a guarantee. A re-check scores your new photo independently before comparing the actual change. The model does not see your earlier score.
